Our Service?

We will personally tailor a CV for you, whether you have just left school or are an experienced career person looking for your next opportunity. 

All we ask you to do is to complete an on-line or postal questionnaire and return it to us with your payment by card securely on line or by posting us a cheque to cover your requirements. 

We will then write a tailor made CV and send it to you by e-mail or post as soon as your payment has cleared.  In the case of a card payment this will normally be within 48 hours of receiving confirmation of your payment, for payment by cheque it will normally be four working days.

Our Experience?

We are professional people with over 30 years of management experience in a variety of industries, including Retail, Banking, Finance, Project roles, Training and Development and Human Resources. 

During our progressive careers we have learnt the value of a good CV in securing that important face to face interview.  We have written many CV's for friends and colleagues who have succeeded in furthering their career. 

It was at their suggestion that we launched "CV's That Open Doors". 

What does it cost?

We are extremely competitive.  Prices start at £20.00 to secure you a tailor made CV.  Just because our prices are reasonable it does not mean you will be getting an inferior CV.  We believe a good CV should be in reach of everybody and not necessarily be expensive.

Our CV's will generally be a maximum of three pages for high impact with prospective employers but will be longer if we feel it is appropriate. 

You can choose from three copies of your CV printed on quality paper in a binder or we will supply an e-mail version formatted in Microsoft Word (this will enable you to update your CV at a later date if you wish).

If you send us a copy of the vacancy you are interested in we can supply a tailor made covering letter to accompany your CV or alternatively a generic covering letter that you can use for any application. 

If you are nervous about the interview we have a selection of fact sheets and a bank of  generic interview questions so you can prepare in advance of the big day.  Fact sheets can be ordered separately if required.

We can review your existing CV for you to ensure that you are making best use of your skills and experience.

Can I write my own CV?

It is certainly possible to write your own CV, but ensure you have made yourself aware of some of the key points to include and most importantly how to phrase it correctly.  Writing a good CV takes practice and a great deal of time to achieve the right result.  We have the time and the experience to provide a good CV at a reasonable price leaving you free to concentrate on finding the ideal job.

We have also recommended some further reading if you want further advice to help with interviews or to help you write your own CV if you wish.  All of our recommendations are based on our own experience and have been carefully selected for their valuable content.
